Accessible Customer Service
All customers of Airways Transit receive the same high quality service from start to finish. This includes the ability to make reservations directly on our web site (www.airwaystransit.com) or by phone with one of our professional reservation agents. Passengers arriving at Pearson International Airport in Toronto are greeted and checked in by our staffed booths in each terminal. For Hamilton International and Waterloo Regional Airports, the driver will be waiting for the passengers in the terminal upon arrival.
Special accommodations may include:
Mobility Scooter Travel Policy: For the safety and comfort of all passengers, guests traveling with a Pride Elite Traveller 2 or similar mobility scooter must reserve a private vehicle. The scooter must be disassembled into parts weighing no more than 50 lbs (23 kg)
Child Car Seats: Passengers must provide their own. For a nominal fee, we can store your child’s car seat and have it ready for your return trip. (re: Ontario Regulation 613 under the Highway Traffic Act.)
- Infants (up to 9 kg / 20 lbs):
Rear-facing car seat required
- Toddlers (9–18 kg / 20–40 lbs):
Forward-facing car seat with 5-point harness
- Children (over 18 kg / 40 lbs,
under 8 years / 145 cm / 4’9”): Booster seat required until seat belt fits
properly
- It is
the responsibility of the adult passenger travelling with the child to
install the car seat properly according to the manufacturer’s
instructions. Our driver may assist yet will not depart until the seat is properly secured.
